It has been used to treat m.in. anxiety, addictions, eating disorders and emotional disorders.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><\/a>What is hypnosis?<\/h2>\n\n<p>The hypnotic state is not always triggered by another person, as <strong>it can occur spontaneously<\/strong>. Sometimes a person thinks about something so deeply that he is not able to repeat what other people said to him at the time. A similar situation can occur when driving a car on a known route. A tired driver acts as if on autopilot, which creates a risk of an accident.<\/p>\n\n<p>The beginnings of hypnotherapy date back to antiquity, while interest in it increased in the twentieth century.
