Its goal is both to solve problems and to develop awareness and support holistic well-being. The approach developed in the mid-twentieth century, and one of the people who played an important role in this was Abraham Maslow.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><\/a>Assumptions of transpersonal therapy<\/h2>\n\n<p>Transpersonal psychology assumes that you should look at the patient holistically, instead of focusing solely on their mental health.  <strong>The emotional, physical, intellectual and spiritual aspects are important here.<\/strong>  Every person has the potential for self-realization, and one of the goals of therapy is to support them in discovering their true nature.<\/p>\n\n<p>The therapist supports the patient in the process of self-healing when he creates space for personal and spiritual development.
