Thanks to this, it can be successfully used in therapy as a support in the treatment of emotional and mental disorders. This unique field is referred to as art therapy.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The history of therapy through art<\/h2>\n\n<p>An important role in the development of therapy through art was played by the British artist Adrian Hill, who in 1942. He was the first to use the term art therapy. He presented the history of the creation of this field in the book &#8220;Art Versus Illness&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n<p>We can learn from it that Hill drew to deal with boredom during a long stay in a sanatorium. Over time, he began to teach art to a group of patients, which allowed him to see and appreciate its therapeutic effect on humans.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Art therapy techniques<\/h2>\n\n<p>Art therapy uses various fields of art, both visual, performative and musical.
