Psychotherapy for married couples
A series of 8 meetings for couples or married couples whose relationship lasts at least a year, is aimed at identifying problems and observing at what levels they occur. Difficulties often manifest as disruptions in communication, in relation to each other, in expressing oneself freely and in establishing closeness.
Areas of Difficulties in the Relationship:
Family consultations are often carried out, which are not psychotherapy, but are the basis for solving the problem. Awareness of what negatively affects the partner can be discussed during individual therapies, which allows you to function better in the relationship and make decisions about real changes.
Psychoeducation as part of the Consultation:
The meetings can take the form of psychoeducation (two meetings), which help to recognize the feedback mechanisms in communication and in relation to each other.
Planning Long-Term Psychotherapy:
- The first stage of psychotherapy:
There are 8-12 meetings every 2 weeks, focusing on intensive work on problems. - The second stage of psychotherapy:
Meetings once a month for the next six months, focusing on consolidating the results achieved. - The third stage of psychotherapy:
Meetings once every 2-3 months, transitioning into supportive therapy to maintain healthy habits and relationships.

Marriage psychotherapy online
Benefits of Online Therapy:
The development of technology makes it possible to access marriage therapy online, breaking down geographical and time barriers. This allows couples to work on their problems in comfortable conditions.
Effectiveness of online therapy:
Research and expert opinions indicate that online therapy can be as effective as traditional face-to-face sessions. The ability to work in a safe and comfortable environment is conducive to deep therapeutic work.
The meaning of Couples Therapy:
Couples therapy makes sense when both parties are interested in improving their relationship. It is especially helpful in conflict situations, where communication is difficult and emotions prevail over reason.
Key aspects of marriage therapy:
- Effectiveness:
Therapy helps in resolving conflicts, improving communication and understanding the needs of partners. Its effectiveness depends on the commitment of both parties. - Duration:
The length of therapy depends on the specificity of the problems and the individual needs of the couple. It is important to adjust the pace of work to the capabilities of both partners. - Expected effects:
The effects of the therapy become visible after a few sessions, when the couple begins to implement new ways of communicating and solving problems.
Preparation for online therapy:
- How to prepare:
Preparation includes choosing the right location, ensuring privacy, and technical aspects such as a stable internet connection and equipment. - The course of online therapy:
Online therapy is similar to stationary sessions, with the difference that communication takes place through online platforms. Sessions can include different working methods, tailored to the needs of the couple.
Online marriage therapy is becoming a key tool in building lasting and healthy relationships, offering support and tools to work on relationships in comfortable conditions.

It is a meeting of a psychotherapist with a couple (straight or homosexual) or a married couple, during which we discuss difficulties related to its functioning.
Psychotherapy can help you rebuild a relationship or make a decision to end it.
Before starting psychotherapy, I conduct approx. 2 consultations. As part of the beginning of the process, I make a preliminary appointment to conduct approx. 6-8 sessions with a frequency of every 2 weeks. Then, if necessary, the duration of psychotherapy can be extended.
Also as part of couple/marriage psychotherapy, it is important that none of the people is addicted or has a minimum period of 6 months of abstinence. Neither person can be afraid of their partner’s emotional reactions. In this case, you should make an appointment individually.
I only work with couples who are motivated to work to stay in a relationship or who are at the stage of deciding if they really want to be together.
What I work with:
- building an intimate and emotional relationship,
- adapting to the changing stages of the relationship,
- crisis intervention,
